In 2006 White found retrieved the glass patio door from an elderly couple in Leicestershire, UK after reading an article in a local paper. The glass panel bore the imprint of a tawny owl which had flown into the window, leaving a residue in grease and dust from its feathers. The resulting print displayed remarkable detail, down the details of the birds eyelashes. The project was revisited in 2014 when the artist expanded his collection of imprints.
